Chalet OS 16.04.2 has been released!
Chalet OS 16.04.2 is now released, adding many great features including better support for UEFI installations and icon-only panel window switchers. Chalet OS 16.04.2 is based on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Xenial Xerus and will be supported until April of 2020. It is now featured on the Chalet OS main download site:

If it helps, I've created torrents for pulling 16.04.2 for both 64bit and 32bit versions. Right now I'm the only one seeding it, but if others will pull and seed, it will make for a faster and less error prone download experience:
Chalet 16.04.2 64bit Torrent
Chalet 16.04 32bit Torrent
Just trying to help out this community as I like the direction of this distro

Is there a way to update to the new (sub)(sub)version via command line / terminal?
Re: Chalet OS 16.04.2 has been released!
you can update the ubuntu core, but to get a lot of the features of the newest release as well as the extra stability it is best to use an installation disk. You can do it without losing your data.
If you have installed with default settings, go to the advanced partitioner when setting up an install, set the swap as swap, and set the / partition as the / partition, however BE SURE TO UNCHECK "format this partition"!!!! otherwise you will lose data. then proceed with installation. It will only replace the files that need to be replaced.
It is best to back up your data in case of a failure on the part of either you or ubiquity, the installer, so that you can restore your data from back up in case of data loss.

Torrent needed.

I've been trying to find a working torrent for the latest 64bit version of chaletos .
The links posted above don't seem to be correct(both are 32bit) or maybe they're just old links and are not good.
Is there anywhere that has a torrent for the last release ?
The only torrent i can find on linux tracker sites is ' chaletos_16-04-1_amd64.iso '
Maybe i could download the "16-04-1" torrent and update from within the OS to "16-04-2" .
Is that doable ?
