Does anyone ever mispelled ChaletOS?

I mean did anyone ever misread Chalet(Home) into a Charlotte(Dessert) or Charlet?
When known about ChaletOS first time?

I think if your first spoken language is not English, you could have interpreted Chalet as something else.. i knew what it meant when i first saw it.

exactly dits. a chalet is a swiss cottage but the word itself is french. It is a recognized word in English. In other words, the swiss took a french word to name their style of little cottages and now English has done the same thing.
