[Solved] Unable to install Google Chrome on ChaletOS 16.04

Hello Folks,

I tried installing Google Chrome via both package manager and via command line but in vain.

In package manager, when I click on Install button, there's no progress on the installation and I don't see any error message.

When I try to install Chrome using command line option, I get following error.

How do I fix this issue and install Chrome?

A dependency is a program that must be installed for another program to operate or install.

So you will need to install libappindicator1.

Try to run this in terminal: "sudo apt-get install libappindicator1"

If that bonks then search it online.

Following command fixed the issue

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -f
