The best thing to do is not use extensions or hardly any at all and then you should get a far better browsing experience.  The best browser to use is Opera and right now the development line with the built-in VPN and Ad-blocking in the engine.  I'm not so experienced with Brave Browser but that might be a better choice than those you mentioned.  Vivaldi isn't quite ready yet but that is another browser of worth. The only advantage of Mozilla browsing is the reliability and the open source side.
