Remove the Title Bar in Firefox
If you would like to have a little more room on your screen in Firefox, there's an extension that does a great job. It removes the Title Bar from the top of the screen, and the tabs will be touching the top of the screen instead of the Title Bar. This can come in handy by giving you a little more screen room...or if you're like me, you just don't like it being there!
It's called - Hide Caption Titlebar Plus.
You can get it from that link above, or search in Add-ons for it. You can customize it a good bit, but it comes out of the box with a look similar to Windows 7.
Here are a couple of "before and after" screenshots...if you look at the bottom of the pictures, you'll see the difference by how much more is showing.
Before...with Title Bar
After...no Title Bar

Re: Remove the Title Bar in Firefox
It good that you pointed this out BroDan.
I always like to have maximum space on my laptop or external monitor and this extension just makes the day!
Combined with "The Fox, Only Better", you just can't have it any better!

Re: Remove the Title Bar in Firefox
Another excellent tip! Thanks danielson! You're right...the two combined give maximum screen space.
For those who may be unfamiliar with "The Fox, Only Better", it's an add-on that auto-hides the address bar and bookmarks bar (if you have it showing)...so all that you see are the tabs and window controls above what's on your screen. To access what's hidden, simply push your mouse pointer to the top of the screen, and they'll appear.
If you're interested in adding it, it can be found HERE.
When you access the page, it's called "Beyond Australis".

Re: Remove the Title Bar in Firefox
Thank you BroDan for mentioning the name change.
There are quite a few options in both of these addons and we must give a thumbs up to both devs for keeping up with Firefox and its constant changes along with the improvements they bring forth.

Yes...that truly does give maximum screen space.
Hit F11 again to escape full screen mode.

True indeed!
If one of you can find an extension that does this automatically, that would be the top of the top panel auto-hide for sure!
