Battery icon not showing

my battery model name is e200 hasee brand every linux i tried no battery icon so please help

welcome to the forums! just right click the panel, activate "panel" option and select "add new items". then look for "power manager plugin" and add it to the panel. Then right click the battery symbol and select "move" and move it to a desired location.

i followed your steps but not working battery is there but not detect by os may be . in windows 7 ,8 the batter icon is there with the percentage symbols i dont why linux not working

I have an idea what's going on. Try unplugging the power cord. see if that makes it pop up.

i did that also but nothing working

may be its because of chinese brand laptop as i tried installing lubuntu same problem shows up or there is no driver for battery
