What is your favorite clipboard manager?

Although ChaletOS does offer a good hint for some decent programs to chose from, it doesn't have a recommended clipboard manager.

Can anyone share their favorite here?

I prefer the XFCE4 Clipman utility. It comes with a popup that can be launched from the command line or by adding an entry into the keyboard shortcut settings, however, this is not needed if you prefer to use the icon on the dock. I do a bit of writing for websites and find it very useful for selecting from various keywords.

You can find it in synaptic by filtering for xfce4.

For some reason, glipper didn't start on reboot.
It's always good to have other apps to look to.

if it doesnt start at startup you can easily add a .desktop file to ~/.config/autostart. Here's a template for "lxpanel":

Exec=/usr/bin/lxpanel
Hidden=false
X-GNOME-Autostart-enabled=true
Name[en_US]=lxpanel
Name=lxpanel
Comment[en_US]=lxpanel
Comment=lxpanel

just change lxpanel to glipper and save as ~/.config/autostart/something.desktop
