Netflix
Just signed up with Netflix here in Australia... i couldn't get it running it through Firefox, it kept saying when i tried to load a movie that i need Microsoft silverlight.
After some researching, installing pipelight and other stuff through the terminal, i still couldn't get it to work.
The only other option was to install Google Chrome, Netflix worked out of the box then.
I would prefer to use Firefox but happy to go through Chrome.

Re: Netflix

Re: Netflix
Yep (edited), my mistake with the spelling there (pipelight) tried it, still didn't work yet it worked out of the box with Firefox on a spare pc with Windows 7. Strange.James Tobin wrote:pipelight, not pipeline, right? I got it working on firefox on a friend's PC with pipelight.

Re: Netflix
Just found another option which was quite easy to do.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/random-agent-spoofer/?src=search
Open Netflix and Enjoy
At this point, you can head over to Netflix, sign in, and enjoy any content you'd like. Netflix will see your browser as Chrome, which it supports, and the DRM running in Firefox is the same as Google uses, so everything should work fine. In the future, Netflix may recognize and support Firefox, but for now, this is the best option.

Re: Netflix
Netflix is now compatible with Firefox on Linux.
Make sure you have the latest version of Firefox.
