A new version based on Xubuntu 16.04 is planned?
If yes, when?

Is it possible to upgrade from 14.04? I like the way I have set up my actual 14.04.

Edit: The answer is YES. After updating system use the terminal with: sudo update-manager -d

Works like a charm.

System is fine but start-up takes far too long. I will wait for reactions on a fresh install to see if this is also a slow starter before I will try a fresh install.

Iv'e installed ChaletOS 16.04 LTS on a spare pc and to be honest i prefer 14.04 so i'l stick with that as it's still supported for a while yet.

frits -

I just upgraded using the same method as yourself and boot time was speedy for me, no problem.
