UEFI Support?
First off, of all the Linux distro out there, and I have tried many, many, MANY of them, Xubuntu is my favorite; I always come back to Xubuntu.
I am a multi-booter; I usually have no less than 5 distros on any given hard drive.
I run older equipment, dual-core Intel processors, generally 32bit, bios...
My understanding is that ChaletOS is Xubuntu with extras. I'm using it now and really like it. I'm toying with the idea of using ChaletOS instead of Xubuntu in all my installation... But, I notice that ChaletOS is 14.04.3. Xubuntu/Ubuntu/Lubuntu are currently at 14.04.4 and 16.04 LTS will be out in less than 2 weeks. Not a big deal.
But, here's the kicker- does ChaletOS have UEFI support?
I'm not a UEFI expert, rather, I'm learning to hate it with a pure hatred. I've had a few failures with different distros and dual-booting Windows 8.1 and now 10. I started fresh with a fresh install of Windows 8.1 and tried my Xubuntu 14.04.4 usb stick and UEFI install is available, ChaletOS 14.04.3 usb stick does not offer UEFI install.
Am I missing something?

Re: UEFI Support?
I guess the answer is no...
I installed Xubuntu and efi boot manager,
then I installed ChaletOS.
Next, boot into Xubuntu, "sudo update-grub" in a terminal window;
restart, and ChaletOS shows up in the GRUB menu and is bootable.
